Easters

 Geoff, Asher, Annika, and I went to a sunrise Easter service on top of Hidden Peak at Snowbird (11,000 ft.). It was really neat to load into a tram with a bunch of strangers in the dark, only to emerge at the top of a mountain with the sun breaking over the top.

Me, probably about to say something really spiritual on Easter morning...:)

 We were smiling so much in this picture because we were pretending that the crying children standing nearby, but not pictured, didn't belong to us. (Asher and Annika both started to cry that it was too cold, even though they were triple-bundled and swaddled in winter knits.)

 "He is Risen, He is Risen...."

These were the quaint folk-singer duo that performed some blue grass spirituals. It was a short Easter service. Those non-denominational churches are on to something with their quick Sunday services. Hope your Easter was wonderful!

Kid Zone

 Welcome to my life. I still have moments where I can't believe this is my life now. I have enjoyed having these little companions. They are pretty good at going on long walks. First, we went to The Eccles Community Art Center, where I have a piece in their "Black and White" show.

 We also stopped at "Topper Bakery." The name made me nostalgic for our old appaloosa, Topper. Unfortunately, the baked goods were anything but GOOD.

 

The troops tired on the return trip, so I found this cart and in true Ogden style wheeled the walkers home.

Stopping for swings. I hope this doesn't make me an evil stepmother, but I was wonderfully surprised at how well those "baby swings" contain them and keep them from being able to run away from me. :) I'm looking forward to Spring for more outside play time.
p.s. How did I do on my very first "Mommy Blog" post? I've been reading them for years, wondering how it feels to post about play groups, outings, and human growth and development milestones. :)
