excerpt from "The Life and Times of Mossie Fox" (my current project)


Mary Emma had a real playhouse in her backyard, and it was nice. They would go into her mama's kitchen, get some cold cornbread, then go to the garden and pick some green onions, then go out into the playhouse. Now you wouldn't think this was good, but it was good. They would have a meal of green onions dipped in salt and cold cornbread. They liked that. Isn't that tacky?

It's very interesting Em. I am trying to find watkins features in the characters...maybe I'm misreading it. Keep up the great work!
