This is my friend Julie and her daughter Mallie. Julie and I went to BYU-I together, back in the day, lost contact for about 6 years, and then reunited again. Feels like we didn't miss a beat, except Julie has three little miniatures of herself running around, while I can barely manage to wake up before 10am. Julie's got a show in Salt Lake soon! *toot* Congratulations! I've also got some stuff on display. *toot toot* For a while I had two prints in Provo on Main Street, in a store front as part of a student show (bad venue). But now, after a couple rejection letters from national printmaking shows, I made it to a local show in Ogden: The Eccles Community Art Center "Black and White" show. *toot* I also showed in the local "hipster" gallery, Gallery 110, with some other students. That was a tricky one. They had a call for entries, and if you didn't read the fine print, you wouldn't know that you were DONATING your work to the show, as a fundraiser for the gallery. I'm thinking it's best to start locally, then move out from there.

I *tooted* for which I'm very proud! I am laughing so hard right now at all the toots in your letter. Were those flatulations?!: Julie looks like a fun gal.
I'm proud that I ate all of my large Arby's roast beef sandwich today. Yum. It was tasty. I'll probably be tooting my own horn later on for that one.
I made copies of a 645 page document.
The word toot is gross.
Ruby needs to do some tooting. She has been fussy tonight. I think it's because Lauren ate brocolli yesterday and today.
As for the other kind of tooting, Lauren and I cleaned our whole 2 bedroom apartment today in about 30 minutes! Wow. Let's hear it for small crowded spaces!
I sat around in my jamies for most of the day & watched television...does that count?
Okay, Emily, I've been stalking your blog for a couple of weeks now, and I'm officially delurking so I can give a toot, too. I made homemade cheesecake for the very first time on Saturday, and it was very, very good.
I made Joe a homemade cheesecake for his birthday. It is not my favorite thing to make, but it made my husband happy. That is what I am proud of today.
I got out of bed before 11:00 today, on a Saturday no less. *toot*
Hey Em! I just found your blog. I must say I was laughing the whole time I read this post and the comments, but I am loving all of your artwork that you have on your site. Its so awesome to hear how you are doing. Provo is a weird place. I didn't like it while I lived there, but now, oddly enough, I miss it. Well, maybe "miss" is a little too strong. I at least feel nostalgic towards it.
