Beat it...yeah.

This morning at 8:05 am I was chased by a dog. (photo pictured above is a simulation) I saw a brown medium sized dog nosing it's way along a country road as I ambled by on my bicycle. Then I saw its little red eyes engage with the rotation of my bike pedals, and it was off. It bolted after me with wild canine fury. It's seventeen rows of razor sharp teeth glistened in the light of the early dawn. I think I caught a glimpse of a forked tail. All I could do was pedal faster and faster (my water bottle was empty so I couldn't spray it) and YELL. I yelled at it for all I worth. First I screamed "Beat it!" Then came "Get away from me!" finally I gave it a stern and breathy "Go home." In the end I was saved by my own adrenaline induced super cycling speed. I simply out-cycled him and he veered off, realizing he was no match for me.

Yet again, ANOTHER reason I hate dogs.

Em, I was so glad that I wasn't the one on the bike! I would've been bitten for sure, but you are a speed demon on your bike. Nice job! I'm glad you wrote about this scary incident! Love your coloring book, btw.

It was the tight pants that won the day for sure. Without that aerodynamic suit you would for sure be dog meat. Ohh we are so relieved you are alive and have all your toes!

The dog probably thought you were a Fox. Was it a hound dog by chance? No wait, it was just a blur to you. You were like the economical equivalent of Speedracer; you didn't get a good look at the breed.

I'm so glad you got away! remember when big chicken chased you, you tripped or something, and then he jumped on top of you? I'm sorry for my crazy chicken but he created some fun memories right?
