When the streets are deserted...
...it is time to go out and ski! Tonight around 9:30I exchanged the red-striped lunch lady dress I had been wearing for some sleek black fleece-lined pants, put on some hunter's safety glasses, plus my skis, and headed out the door into the snow. Hardly a soul could be seen, the silence was healing, and the brisk winter air... as obnoxious as ever. Ok, I'm done trying to be all poetic with my writing. Basically, I had a really fun time skiing in the park across the street from my house. Also, I love how when it is snowing in the nighttime you can see so well. There is so much light!

Also, Thank you Mom! Thank you for this lovely vintage dress! I love the new buttons on it, and the bright yellow pattern, tapered sleeves, and flowing skirt, I will wear it with as much poise and elegance as Maureen O'Hara. Sooo thoughtful, thanks!
