Wispy Fly Aways?

No, it's the Spiral Jetty. The Spiral Jetty is the "Mona Lisa of all earthworks". It was sculpted by Robert Smithson in 1970 in a remote area off the Great Salt Lake (it took three hours from Provo to get there.) It was a beautiful overcast day with warmish winds, a perfect day for experiencing The Spiral Jetty with my fellow graduate students. Plus, the Great Salt Lake is such a weird environment: all that salty water and crusty beaches.

this is my comrade and gifted ceramicist friend, Rachel.
On another note, come to a show April 11 at Muse Music. Schmaltzy will be playing with Adding Machines at their cd release! (I did the illustration for their album cover!)
